My view while writing this

1. It pains me to compliment Ted Cruz…

…but Ted Cruz did an honorable thing in criticizing the FCC’s intimidation of Disney and ABC over the Jimmy Kimmel firing. I make fun of him so much it’s only fair for me to give him credit over this. Sometimes he doesn’t do the worst, most self-aggrandizing thing in his trademark Ted Cruz awkwardness, and he actually puts his conservative principles first in a Constitutional-respecting manner that puts him at odds with Trump’s immoral legal pettiness, and, for that, thank you, Ted! *vomits*

Speaking of the Kimmel Affair, Trump tweeted out in anger about Kimmel coming back on air, complaining that his White House was told Kimmel would be gone. Then Trump wrote that he’d now maybe try to extort ABC for even more money than the $16 million settlement over George Stephanopoulos calling Trump a rapist (obviously true though not officially, legally established in a court of law).

Naturally, this means that all of Trump’s sycophants who have been breathlessly insisting all week that Trump and the FCC had nothing to do with Kimmel’s firing — so therefore it isn’t a case of government censorship — were wrong. At this point in the Trumpian era, you just have to be a total dumb-dumb…

Dadaist graffiti news. Halfway true comedy and satire by Dash MacIntyre. I don't report the facts, I improve them. Comedy is cathartic in fascist eras like ours
